Welcome to Show Me Rotary!

Congratulations on being selected to serve your Rotary Club as President or Secretary for the

2016-17 Rotary year!  We look forward to helping you prepare for our Rotary year together and

making 2016-17 a successful and fun year!  We know from experience this will be one of the

most challenging yet rewarding years you will have in Rotary.

To be successful, you need to start preparing for the 2016-17 Rotary year now.  A major step in

your preparation is to attend Show Me Rotary, Friday, April 1st though Saturday, April 2nd,

2016, at the Capital Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City.  For 38 years Show Me Rotary has been

helping train Presidents-Elect and Secretaries to better lead and administer their clubs.  Show Me

Rotary allows you to meet and learn from other Rotarians and your fellow Presidents-Elect and

Secretaries from the over 150 clubs in our three Missouri Rotary Districts.

In addition to the networking and social opportunities, Show Me Rotary also offers you needed

workshops on key Rotary-related subjects led by experienced facilitators, detailed sessions with

your District Governor-Elect, plus fun, fellowship and outstanding motivational speakers. We are

fortunate to have as our keynote speakers Rotary International Director Karen Wentz, polio

survivor Ann Lee Hussey, and Regional Rotary Foundation Coordinator Floyd Lancia, as well as

many other inspiring presenters and facilitators. We know your time invested in Show Me

Rotary will be beneficial and inspirational.  Show Me Rotary will allow you to return to your

club with a better understanding of your responsibilities and the confidence to lead your club

successfully. Be prepared to learn a lot…and to have fun!
